"MRI Methods for Parametric Imaging
"
-pdf
Abstract: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an imaging modality used widely in the clinic for the non-invasive diagnosis of pathologies. Most of the information, however, is interpreted qualitatively by the radiologist. MRI-dependent parameters can also be measured to provide a quantitative approach to the characterization of pathologies. Parametric imaging is not used in current clinical practice due to limitations of conventional MRI methods. This talk will present new MRI methods developed for parametric imaging highlighting the relevance of these methods for various clinical applications.
